Happy New Year!

Happy New year!

Happy New Year!

I was pondering today about what a new year means. It is funny how it is only another day. Another 24 hours. However, we are told by others and ourselves to start making goals and lists. I love to sit down, reflect on what I want to accomplish in different areas of my life, journal it, and make a plan. Goals are great; they help us achieve what we want by focusing specifically on the task. However, sometimes we set goals that are not for us.

So, before I set my goals this year, I am taking a different approach, and I encourage you to do the same.

This year take time to reflect and note how much you grew in this last year. Could you look at what worked for you and what did not serve you? Both physically and mentally?

In her book "Life is a Verb", Patti Digh says, “At the end of each year; I ask myself two questions:

1) What do I want to create in this New Year?

And, perhaps even more importantly,

2) What do I want to let go of?"

Wow!

Letting go is huge. Letting go of perfection. Letting go of being someone else and not being true to who we are. Letting go of toxic relationships, just letting go of anything that doesn’t serve us anymore.

With the New Year upon us, remember to give yourself permission to Let Go. To make 2023 a fun, healthy year that is true to yourself.

This year, I encourage you to think about not just your physical health but your mental health as well. Health is more than just exercise and looking good. It finds harmony and balance by strengthening the mind, body, and spirit.

My wish for you this New Year is that you:

  • Don’t change who you are but become more of whom you were meant to be.
  • Let the power and strength inside you grow stronger by letting yourself not be afraid and take the next step that will help you achieve your goals.
  • Have more joy than sorrow
  • Have more laughter than tears
  • Have more faith than fear
  • Have more dreams than doubt

I am looking forward to 2023. I am here, committed to helping you discover tools that you can use to help you feel healthier physically and mentally.

It is time to take care of yourself. To feel centered and connected, find balance while strengthening the mind, body, and spirit, and we can do this together.

As we roll into 2023, I can’t help but reflect on the past year. I am grateful for all my experiences with my family, friends, and clients. Traveling, weddings, and most importantly, watching you, my clients, transform right before my eyes into a healthier you. You so inspire me. You inspire me with the transformations I see both physically and mentally. And you aren’t done. Because of you and your hard work, I anticipate 2023 to be full of changes.

May 2023 give you the experiences of health, adventures, and a peace-filled soul. And may you never forget how capable, brave, and deserving you are every day.
