Hello from me and my new yoga buddy above, Maya. Maya joined our family a few weeks ago and we couldn’t be happier. She is a 3-month Bi-Black Shetland (Sheltie) Sheepdog who likes to chew on my yoga blocks more than anything. Yes, we have some training to do.

Speaking of Yoga...

Back in 2002, pregnant with my youngest, I decided to get certified in Level 1 and 2 in Yoga and thought I would go for my Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200). Well, I guess I didn't realize how hard that would be with 3 kids and all their activities. You see, to successfully complete a 200-hour yoga teacher training that is registered with Yoga Alliance, all training hours must come from the same school, and multiple trainings cannot be combined to meet the 200-hour requirement. Years went by and I kept telling myself I would do this. Sure I was a Certified Yoga Instructor but I wanted that 200 hour. Finally in 2020 I decided it was time to go back to yoga school and finish what I put on hold. I did it! Moral of this story is to never give up and always believe in yourself. You can do anything you put your mind up to.
